Business Development Manager

 

LIFEAID Beverage Company is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join the team. The BDM focuses on new business development initiatives across the entire LIFEAID product portfolio. Identifies and helps develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers. Researches and analyzes current and future business opportunities. Develops a strong pipeline of new customers. Works with senior leadership to implement innovative sales initiatives.

 

     Responsible for growing and managing existing revenue streams for all LIFEAID products; first focused against GO! Product launch

     Identify potential customers and new opportunities across all channels

     Aggressively pursue and meet sales goals

     Provide excellent customer service to potential and existing customers

     Conduct market research and analysis to identify new profitable revenue streams

     Participates in sales and marketing activities such as trade shows, seminars, and content development for materials

     Works collaboratively with the National Accounts team to maximize revenue. Work to expand on current points of distribution while expanding visibility with new retail partners

     Promote teamwork and overall company goals

     Exhibits strong critical thinking and evaluation skills

     Other duties as assigned, per the needs of the business

 

Qualifications

     5-7 years of experience in sales within a consumer-packaged goods company.

     Experience utilizing syndicated data to build fact-based selling strategies & presentations (ex: Spins, Nielsen, IRI, Mintel).

     Must be a self-starter with the ability to successfully work and achieve goals under a minimum amount of direction & supervision.

     Must possess skills required to plan & manage the business across the entire region.

     Must demonstrate the ability to take initiative, be proactive in identifying issues and recommend solutions while following through on all aspects of the business.

     Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and articulate key concepts.

     Excellent communication and presentation skills—both internally (team, senior leadership) and externally (retailers, distributors).

     Ability to multi-task, prioritize and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.

     Positive attitude with a team-player mentality.

     Flexible and adaptable to ever-changing business needs.

     Customer service mindset to ensure partners receive quality sales support.

     Willingness and ability to travel regularly.

     Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

     Starting Salary of $65,000 or greater, DOE, plus Medical, Stock Option, and 401k
